The article mentioned basil oil, bitter orange, as well as Brazilian Peppertree… are all 3 comparable or is one better than the others? Thank you for the helpful article!

Customers need to be warned of this side effect especially if they have had their Gallbladder removed.

I read that it inhibits aromatase in both sexes which is good for women with breast cancer and men with prostate cancer that need to inhibit estrogen production/conversion. It is more logical for older men to inhibit aromatase that converts their available testosterone to estrogen instead of trying to increase testosterone production. I heard that it was just as effective as DIM and more effective then chrysin as an aromatase inhibitor.

However it did clear my blocked ear but it’s not something I would ever do again.

Any further research would be helpful.

Unfortunately, probably not. Limonene should be extracted by a more or less sophisticated steam destillation because, even using that, only a small amount of oil will be obtained. You can watch this video to have a better idea and there are a couple other sources online about how to extract limonene at home. However, water with citrus peel won’t hurt but I would suggest buying the extract if you want to see its benefits.

This study found that docetaxel+limonene depleted glutathione in prostate cancer cells in order to increase oxidative stress and kill cancer cells. However, this effect was mainly due to docetaxel but increased by limonene. It also mentions that normal prostate cells were not affected.

I was wondering if I could soak the rind of the orange or lemon in a jar of water overnight and drink it every day as my water source. Will that suffice? Thanks

More reactive oxygen species are produced in the cancer cells, while the amount of glutathione, an antioxidant that inhibits tumor growth, is significantly reduced. The activity of caspase, an enzyme involved in triggering apoptosis, is also increased [R].”

I am confused by this statement. Reducing Glutathione would seem to be a bad thing??? I certainly don’t want to aggravate my Prostate.
