Its a bit deceptive as there are lots of different ways of collecting evidence. You could likewise say ‘evidence does not support use of cholesterol medication’ Its the same problem!

And what carrier oil can I use; just MCT oil from coconut? And how many mg of the horsetail powder should I put in a 30ml bottle?

Thank you for your most amazing information on Horsetail…I have an abundance of it growing in my garden, actually it took over the entire back garden and I wasn’t sure how best to use it, and now I know…I cannot wait to try and make oil from it, I will have to research that too….Thank you again for your kindness and generosity!

Hi Esmeralda, you can purchase horsetail online through one of our affiliates (Amazon or iHerb) if you wish. Please find the links under the “Buy Horsetail Extract” subheading. For how to use horsetail, take a look at the “Dosage” subheading. The exact dosage and duration of use depend on the health issue you’re looking to improve and the formulation (extract, tea, etc.).

Hi Alice, although this has not been specifically studied, smoking cigarettes is not a contraindication for horsetail. Most supplements may only contain trace amounts of nicotine. You do want to make sure that you don’t have low potassium levels or thiamine deficiency (or be 100% certain that the supplement you’re buying if high quality and doesn’t contain thiaminase if you suspect you’re low in thiamine/vitamin B1). Also, reducing or quitting smoking would help you get the most out of horsetail’s antioxidant properties.

It was helpful as all your articles. But I have to say that your previous articles had marked each reference with different number. Now you write only “R” and I am confused when I want to see a the source of information. I am not sure whether I’ve already read it or not… I “click” sometimes the same reference several times
