It made my scalp very itchy and I had to wash it out. Use 2tbsp powder, 2tbsp blackbean powder, 2tbsp olive oil, 2tbs of coconut oil, water and yogurt.. half of my hair broke off. And it left it very hard and dry. I started to take the capcil, that’s another problem. Maybe is because of the levothyroxine I am on. I did not consult a doctor.

The seeds are very hard so a study grinder is needed (hand operated is okay). Fenugreek is very bitter in quantity. The good news is that only a little powder is needed, and of course, it is available in capsule form.
Too early to say for sure, but I think Fenugreek is helpful for large joint pain, likely due to reducing inflammation. I took 600mg dose with no other changes and had relief for 2 days from hip pain. I have to be careful due to taking medication to reduce clotting.

Very good and helpful information. Well researched. Very comprehensive without being overly long. Cautious regarding benefits of the substance -indicates whether the research.can be relied upon or is not so solid yet. It gives the form in which it is taken for different conditions. The writing is clear and to the point. I give this a thumbs up. 5 Stars!!!

Took it randomly expecting nothing, and after awhile started to feel alot more alert, and anti-depressanty.

Tried while fasted with some fish oil and worked wonders.

Bit concerned though tinkering with MAO-A/B though.. due to the acute nature of the delivery, wouldn’t want to go up and down heaps during the day.

I want to take a boswellia a highly vetted and recommended boswellia product that has 1 mg of fenugreek per capsule. Boswellia has proven to help me with Crohns inflammation.

I thought that was pretty funny that one of the side effects is smelling like maple syrup. More of a benefit than anything else. Who doesn’t love maple syrup?

I take fenugreek to help with the absorption of the creatine I take (one of the most consistently effective cognitive enhancers I’ve tried and I take it daily).

I didn’t notice you mention the creatine-fenugreek connection in the article. Here’s a PubMed study supporting the claim if you wanted to add it in: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3761853/

Cheers!

Doing so is important just because each ingredient has its own set of beneficial compounds. By using a variety of different ones, we have the potential to optimize our nutrition and health.
