Upon taking about one teaspoon of it I got an immediate headache and sudden fatigue. Took a lirtrle less of it later, and got the sme result. Took it back to health food store and got a refund! It seems to have my blood sugar to drop instantly.

Can you explain this statement to me a bit? The whole “AGEs” thing…has something to do with overcooking/browning/charring meat, right? So how does d-ribose play into this?

I very glad it is helping people but the science is so new. Is it (gmo) corn that is highly processed (super heated?) ? Is it physically addictive? It is so expensive. Why?

I will have to read it several times and probably do a little more research before I decide on how much and how often to take this, – I only just bought myself a small pack to trial it again, after suffering digestive troubles last time round. I loved the energetic and pain killing effects so much, that I wanted to try it again but taking it with food, and perhaps less of it. It was so good to feel some power surging through my limbs.. thanks for the article, it’s good to be informed.

In what I’ve read so far, the side effects may be gastrointestinal problems and/or lowering blood glucose, especially in those taking diabetic medications. If there is some documentation backing up your claims for the serious side effects you state above, you should indicate the source so that interested readers can research it and make informed decisions. I was interested to see the possible benefits but alarmed by what you have listed as side effects, especially without any documentation.

He also said that the more enlightened cardiac specialists are using the d ribose along with Hawthorn berry
and CoQ10 for their patients. D ribose having a great capacity to nourish heart muscle.
I put 1/2 a teaspoon into my 600ml water bottle and drink that amount over a few hours always in the morning.
It does have a strengthening effect on your heart and does allow more exercise.
I may increase it into the future. Apparently d ribose gets used up by the body very quickly hence my taking it over a period of time.
it is not a sugar that puts weight on. its about finding the dose and method of ingestion that suits you.
it appears to have an effect on the skin of my face …complexion goes off. …
