We have a 5 yr old granddaughter w/eczema, she’s a trooper. Her mom has been working on this the last 5 years. Thank you so much for the borage oil information. I make our soap, lotions, shampoo’s, shower soap, etc. but this has steered me in a great direction for a lotion that, God willing may work! I’ll let you know the results and the recipe =D THE LORD Bless you and your team Joe!

It works wonders for me. I would say it could be the best cure for eczema. However, I decided to start taking in orally by capsule. At first the only side effect I noticed was a flushed face but after a few months of use I started to develop other side effects and can no longer ingest it. I am super bummed because I was convinced I found a cure all. I will warn you that Borage oil does seem to interfere with medications and because it is a fatty oil it will stay in your system longer than pharmaceutical drugs.
I recommend only taking 500mg 2/week if you want to ingest it. Otherwise just use it for dry skin!
I’d like to hear from anyone else who may have experience with ingesting Borage oil.

I would much rather take Evening Primrose oil, which has no such side effects.

I tried telling my allergy doctor to research this. She politely refused, so I had previously congratulated the FDA for its greater support of rare diseases, they basically mocked me. I am sure others here have tried to be helpful and been kicked in the jewels in gratitude, but obviously my worst sin is I’m a slow learner. Just when places like this do such a great job recommending without prejudice to people who are trying to learn how to help each other and drown fake news.

Results were immediate.
